Franz Josef Haydn

The famous Austrian composer (1732-1809) has often been called the father of the symphony. Haydn's symphonies were models of clarity and balance. Yet the composer brought to them his not only his considerable skills and inherent optimism but also his wit and cunning.

The "London" Symphonies

Our selection of encoded symphonies emphasizes the later works that show off his talents to best advantage. Users will find that each one is different from the others but fully transparent.
