MuseData Example: musica ficta

Musica ficta are editorial accidentals which are added above a note to indicate the application of an accidental to a note which was not present in the original music. To move an accidental mark above a note, place a caret (^) mark in the additional notation columns for notes (columns 32-43). Accidentals placed above the note are treated as regular accidental marks, and apply to later notes in the measure unless they are cancelled. If an accidental is placed above the note, it will not be printed by default if the accidental in the regular position would not be printed. Place a plus sign (+) in the additional notations columns (columns 32-43) to force the accidental to be printed. The order of "+" and "^" in the additional notations columns does not matter.
